Volusian (251 - 253CE)

Volusian (251 - August 253CE). Gaius Vibius Afinius Vendumnianus Volusianus was the son of Trebonianus Gallus. He became Caesar at the time of his father's accession and was made Augustus, ruling jointly with his father, upon Hostilian's death from the plague. He was killed together with his father by mutinous troops at Interamna.
