Constantine II (22 May 337 - 340CE). Flavius Claudius Constantinus was the eldest son of Constantine and Fausta. He became Augustus together with his brothers Constans and Constantius II upon his father's death on May 22, 337. He was made Caesar on March 1, 317 at the age of 1. Constantine attempted to wrest control of Italy from his brother, Constans, but was killed in battle.
