French Somaliland currency. French Somaliland was a French colony established in 1896. In 1946, it became a French overseas terriroty, and in 1967 was renamed the French Overseas Territory of Afars and Issas. In 1977, it became the Republic of Djibouti. Monetary system: 1 Franc = 100 Centimes.
